The fun starts at 9pm at the Rumpot (after showing all the soaps of course! NOTE: Major football matches are ALWAYS shown either inside or out, we have a 50 inch plasma screen on the terrace!) Taffy kicks off the proceedings with a mixture of live guitar music and comedy banter….10pm-ish sees our top line cabaret show (see above) we have the BEST acts on the island every night of the week!…After the cabaret the quiz answers and winner announcement, THEN it’s ‘TAFFYOKE’ with our massive selection of songs, right up to date.
Toward the end of the night it’s the BACARDI DRAW where (exclusive to the Rumpot) we play a game where the winner takes a fabulous bottle of bacardi!
At the Rumpot we strive to create a happy safe environment for our customers, whether it be the more mature or very young, any shows with adult content are advertised beforehand and it’s up to Parents discretion whether they stay or not, Kids are very welcome at the bar!
(Please note that children are encouraged to sing on karaoke, however at certain times of the year the clientele changes and with a more mature audience it’s the Comperes discretion up to what time of the evening this may be possible.)
WHY GO ELSEWHERE? It’s all at the Rumpot, hungry on your way home at the end of the night? We are next door to the ‘Chippy’ and Pizza place, and Taxis can either be flagged down easily outside, or there is a rank further down the street…….You really don’t have to travel far!
At the Rumpot we are proud that customers return frequently and we have many regular friends, Taffy and all the staff have been there a long time and we are not a bar where you see a different face every holiday, the girls behind the bar (see staff) remember everybody, and everything, sometimes it’s not a good thing!
